Russell is a patent agent with research experience in the fields of organic chemistry, molecular biology, and metabolomics. Russell earned his bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2015, with a double major in Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience & Biotechnology. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Cornell University in 2021, where he investigated the metabolome of Caenorhabditis elegans and the chemical differences between the sexes.
