Phil has over 10 years of industry experience in electrical, systems, and computer engineering. This includes PCB layout and fabrication, embedded system design, and RF systems. During his career, he designed systems for defense, medical device, and consumer applications.

Phil graduated with Bachelor’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. While at Johns Hopkins, Phil was involved in research projects in the fields of photonics, parallel computing, and image processing, with course work in FPGAs and mixed-signal circuit design.

Phil has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the medical device, electronics, and software spaces, in addition to newer technologies such as neural networks and artificial intelligence.

Phil earned his law degree (cum laude) from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2019.
